Did you know that Mr. Ziff was in the Simpson's episode where Homer took Marge to the Prom? It was a while ago but Marge went with this dorky math dude, Arty Ziff. I remember Mr. Ziff saying he knew one of the guys that wrote the Simpson's.

Yeah I remember that Simpsons episode, I was in his class at the time. I am pretty sure John Lovitz did the voice of Arty Ziff. Mr.Ziff was an awesome teacher, he always made me laugh. I don't remember the bumblebee tee shirt but I do remember him being fatally allergic to bee stings. I also remember him being fond of the yearly Oyster Bay clam bake. You're right though, the kids are missing out on a great experience.

Mr. Ziff was the best! He tutored me for the Geometry regents. The Simpson's episode was a riot! I will always remember Mr. Ziff saying things like "It's SNOT what you think", or It's SNOT time for class to end." He made Algebra the highlight of the day!

Mr. Ziff was awesome...the car...the great sense of humor. But, he definitely scarred me for life...to this day, I cannot see a pigeon without wondering if the cafeteria is serving chicken!

That Simpson's episode was great. I remember him telling us, that the character was based on him. I didn't believe him until I saw the episode.

Well I don't remember a Bumblebee shirt or the Simpson episode but I do remember his rat tie pin and his uncanny ability to take Pi out to 50 digits....
