I had a wonderful time, both at the school and later on at the dinner for the class of '73. It's just a shame that more folks weren't able to make it! However, I want to thank Steve T ('cos I didn't get a chance to thank him at either event) for being the impetus for the weekend events, and I want to thank the entire team that put everything together! You all did a great job!!!
Thanks Again,
Debbie

My husband and I had a really good time ~ it was great catching up with many people who we haven't seen in years. It was a little difficult finding people though... We kept doing a sweep from the outer tent and through the halls and back around. There wasn't a great showing from our classes (75 & 76). We ended the night at Mulcahy's -- seeing many familiar faces from earlier in the day. We were glad we attended and hope that in the future, more alumni and teachers would be present! ;D

To all the committee members. You guys did a great job. The weather even cooperated. The halls of the high school were especially enjoyable to look at all the old pictures and history of the school we all graduated from.
The tent outside was worth its weight in gold. I know there are specific people who were there from very early that morning who worked very hard setting up everything. A BIG Texas Thank you to ya'll for making the day a very special one.
To Frederick P. Schwicker, Sr, author of "Clam Diggahs", Seaford: Tales of a Town Gone By, A Long Island Memoir, Thank you for putting your memories in writting and for being at the reunion. I bought your book and my son and I have laughed together reading various parts from it. I love the way you wrote it. I had no idea a German Sub surfaced 20 miles off the coast of Fire Island back in the 40's.
To Mrs. Warren, my girl scout leader back in the 50's. Thank you for attending the reunion and allowing me the opportunity to say thank you for all the time and energy you gave to the Girl Scouts. To the artist (who designed & sculpted it) and the persons responsible for the bronze plaque in honor of Mr. Manso that is on the wall outside the Auditorium. It is a beautiful tribute to a wonderful human being who influenced many lives.
The memorial to the students who lost their lives on 9/11 was beautiful. I especially liked reading a little bit about each person. Thank-you to their families for giving all of us a glimse into the lives of their loved ones. And thank you to the committee who organized, collected and saw the memorial through to completion. It is truly beautiful
To the band who brought back many memories for all of us through the songs we all grew to love. To the entire committee and especially Steve for building this website, which has made this transplanted Long Islander feel closer to home for the last year, THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY MUCH. Karen White, Class of 68, Houston, Texas

Thanks to all who put so much work into the reunion! I attended with my husband and kids, who put up with meeting tons of strangers, and never complained...I just kept feeding them! Thanks to the vendors, by the way! The food was great. We live in Marietta, outside of Atlanta, and my family loves eating NY junk food like REAL pizza and Italian ices. My only issue with the reunion was the assembly at 3PM in the gym. What a shame that people could not get seated and listen to the speakers for just 15 minutes. It would have been a great opportunity to get organized by class years, and be sure you didn't miss anyone. Class of 74, sorry there weren't more of you in attendance. I think Paul Scheihing was the only guy there! It was great to see all the girls, especially Diane Fullerton Allaire, who I lost touch with in college! Now we can visit each summer when I come to Seaford! I also was grateful for the opportunity to spend a little time with Arnel Brandes Greenberg, Emily Garfinkel Moss, and Jennifer Dunne! You are all the best...can it really be almost 30 years?! Hope Kathy Campbell Kelly and her gang can get a 30th reunion together...and hope more of us attend! See you all next summer!

Had a great time at the reunion. Unfortunately there were not that many from our class of '58 present. We have been to numerous other reunions and always had a good show for our class. But we will always have the distinction of being the very 1st. graduating class from Seaford High. Thank you to all who worked so hard. It was obvious the amount of time that was spent. On a personal note: it was a big disappointment to see that the original Viking head designed and painted by my husband Lou, was no longer on the gym floor, but understandable. We were very touched by the beautiful memorial for those we lost on 9/11. Again thank you to all and look forward to another reunion such as this. Would love to help next time. Had such a great time, Saturday at the reunion. Didn't make it to Mulcahys' but had a great time over at the Reilly house. My jaw still hurts from all the laughing....What a blast. Thanks J&J, had a great time. sorry I did not hook up again with Mary, Janice, Lynn or Diane....I will try to get in touch via email or phone soon. (as soon as I can find all those numbers I wrote down.) Thanks to all the people who obviously worked so hard to make the reunion a big success...your hard work and dedication paid off. Can't wait to see the online pictures from the 19th.
