I need your help!! I teach languages at the high school. I'm currently working on my doctoral thesis on attitudes and motivation in learning foreign languages. I'd like to know if former students are currently using languages other than in English in their jobs, everyday life, etc. Please send me your feedback to: smgz@optonline.net I really appreciate your help.

Yes, I am currently using Spanish in a Rochester City School that I am in for my education program at SUNY Geneseo. I am in a bilingual self-containecd classroom with 4th-6th graders. I use spanish to clarify things for the students because they are english language learners. English is the dominant language but the teacher, who is a native speaker, uses spanish a lot and I use it frequently. I hope this helps!

Hi, I had 3 years of spanish in JHS and HS. Mrs. Grayson in Junior High and Mrs. Callessano in High School. To this day I still speak spanish and have lived in Guadalajara, Mexico for 4 months. My thanks and gratitude to these two excellent teachers.
