Invitations are presently being sent out for the multi-year reunion for classes '64-69. It is set for Oct. 5, 2002 at the Huntington Hilton on L.I. If anyone has any question regarding the event, please contact me at irish@nac.net. Here's hoping that there will be a good turnout for a fun night. Carolyn Schmidt

Carolyn by chance do you have pictures from the reunion that you coordinated last Oct? If so, any chance of you setting them up somewhere at the Reunion for July 19th. Those of us who live out of state and couldnt make the reunion would enjoy looking at pictures. I understand you did a great job coordinating it. Congrats. Karen, Class of 68

Hi Karen, I just went to check out the pictures and I found that they were no longer available. Maybe someone will bring some of the photos with them. The person that took them will be coming to the reunion. Sorry I couldn't send them. See you next week. Carolyn

Donna, Sorry for not responding sooner. I stopped cking in at this site for the last few months. Yes I remember you. I think we did marionette puppets at your house in girl scouts, if my memory serves me correct. you lived around the corner from Mrs. Fudge. I live in Houston, Tx now. I worked for American Airlines for 26 yrs in their corporate offices. and moved to Texas in 78 with them. Then took an early out in 95. Been doing various things since then. I have a 12 1/2 yr old son in 7th grade. I'm divorced twice, ugh. There was a good bunch of 68' classmates there, I would say about 30. I was really glad I went. I tried to get a bunch of the group to meet somewhere else afterwards, but not that many were interested. It was a shame, because alot of people came a long way to see and visit with each other. I was always curious as what everyone did. IE: I just knew Howard Comet would be responsible for inventing something and go down in the history books. Bruce Grill told me he became a lawyer. My response was, that fits him. I could see him doing that. The only reunion I went to prior to this was the 20 yr reunion in 88. There was a whole bunch of kids at that one, almost the whole class. It was at the country club where the Sr. Prom was. I noticed somewhere you noted your in Boca Raton, Fl. I have a good friend who moved there a few yrs ago. She had a real nice home in Deerfield Beach for quite a few yrs. Nice location on a canal and the inter-coastal Hwy was two houses down. I never thought I would like Florida until I visited her there. With the ocean breeze it didn't feel so hot, like in Orlando. My In Laws lived there and we visited there often, God its hot and huuuuuummmmid there! It seems that alot of kids have moved or retired there. I was communicating with my ex, Harry Rawlings for a while there. He is not far from Boca as I recall. I cant remember the name of the town right now. He became a Nassau County Cop, put in his time and retired to the South. I have been emailing with Roberta Greenfield, she is in Austin, Tx. Its about 3.5 hrs from me. We are trying to get together sometime. I talked with Wayne Karol and emailed for a while. Its so funny, even though he was in my elementary classes from 2nd to 5th grade, he didnt remember me at all. He apologized and we communicated back and forth for a while. He is in San Francisco area. Well, lets email more, however I prefer to do it under private email and dont want to list mine here. You can contact me at Karen@cyberchuck.org. Great hearing from you. Let me know how your doing. Karen

Howard Comet is not just a lawyer - he is a partner at Weil Gotshal & manges, and represents Enron, Sotheby's and other huge corporations. He is one of the top bankruptcy litigators in the USA. IE: I just knew Howard Comet would be responsible for inventing something and go down in the history books. Bruce Grill told me he became a lawyer. My response was, that fits him. I could see him doing that. T You can contact me at Karen@cyberchuck.org. Great hearing from you. Let me know how your doing. Karen
