Any ball players from all era's interested in playing against the present day varsity? I've already spoken to the coaches, and they are ready to go. If we get a huge amount of people, have your "team captains" from whichever era you're from organize your team! I'm thinking the era's could be: 60's through '72, '72 through '79, '80 through '86, '87 through '96, and '97 through '02. This year's team will be up against some good ol' baseball players! How about it, guys! Email me and let me know what you think. smpk79@Yahoo.com

Tuch, It would be an honor to play in the game, I would have to start at Shortsop and Leadoff and play all nine innings. Frog Man

Perry,
My only problem with this is why didnt someone come up with this idea 10 years ago while I still had a pitching arm. I will be there rust and all however. Can I pitch by the way,

Perry,
I am a graduate of the class of 1953. At 68 I still feel like I can play this game. Would you have room for an old moth back like myself?

Mr. Antonelli,
I'm not trying to be funny here, but did SHS exist in 1953? Who do you have from your era? The early '80's team is almost ready to go, you can play on our team if you can't get anybody.
Germ... I remember you pitching in little league, never saw you in high school. But, sure, you can pitch. Didn't you have a "blooper" pitch or something like that??

This seems like a great idea, and the fact that you have had such an overwhelming response is another indication that Vinnie C, must still be managing. Of course if that is indeed the case, well it goes without saying that he'll be sipping coffee off the 3rd base line, and making wise cracks while hitting fungo's. That aside, with the watchful eye of someone like yourself Perry V, theres no telling how far an alumni squad could go. As long as its Robinson at 3rd, I'm in, other than that, just put me in right and leave me alone. BS aside, hope all are well, and it would be super to get this together in any fashion,I'm sure we all agree, we had a nice experience as Seaford students and as ballplayers.TEXT

Perry,
I tried out for the team back in 84, 85 and 86 and got cut all three times. I have been trying to deal with this frustration and humiliation for the last 19 years in therapy. If I could be given the opportunity to actually make the alumni team ( I wouldn't even have to start) it would mean so much to me. Please keep me posted.
