Let's see...there was Miss Kirby, my 2nd grade teacher and Seaford Elementary. She encouraged my acting ability...anyone remember The Shoemaker and the Elves?? I was the shoemaker's wife and Danny (?) was the husband (quite risque for those days, eh?), forgot his lines and I fed them to him! There was Miss Mitsinikos, my 5th grade teacher. The Spanish that she taught me stayed in my head, to this day. There was our wonderful librarian who would read us poems by AA Milne....Disobedience and Delphiniums Blue. What was the name of that interesting Art teacher we had there who used to climb out of the front of his car where the engine should have been??? High School: Mr. Harrington was such a gentleman. So creative and challenging. Does anyone remember Mr. Schwartz?? The 'cool' driver's ed. teacher...always talking about getting high??!! In fact, he wrote in my book 'stick with me and you will surely 'get a head''. Strange dude, eh?
