There'll been no coups this time. Havn't spoken to Duke lately. There's a possible stickball game brewing for Sunday, September 14th, in Seaford. Game could include: GM, SG, CY, PB, PV, AS

Hi Perry,
Is this game for the guys only, or can I play too? I'm no Willie McCuvey, but am willing to give it a try.
Take care, Marilyn

Hi Marilyn,
Of course you can play, you can be on my team anytime! You'd have to be in uniform, though! I can dig up my old Seaford jersey, or we can find you an old San Fransisco Giant #44 ----McCovey!

Why can't Perry invite me to play in the game? Ya'll said you were having an alumni game and I am SHS Alumni and wanted to play and I'm really a good player.
Is it because I am a girl or is it just me?
Pleasssseee Mr. Chief Rocco, let me play in the game!!!!

Tucci,
I feel this stickball game should be postponed until I can attend. I have a business meeting in Detroit that can not be disturbed this weekend. By the way, my Aluminum bat you gave me from the Joe King, Queens Village idiots days lies dormant in my garage waiting to unleash its fury. i have no problem with Marilyn playing she just needs to get clearance through me as the crew chief of this operation.

Sabs, The stickball game went on. Tony V, we were expecting you, we had to move to the field to the Manor facing Mr. DeResperis's house, the Jr high field had parked cars on it. The teams: Perry V. & Greg M vs. Peter B. & Mike G; Nick V. DH'd for both teams. In a wild hitting game, albeit pretty darn good pitching too, the final was 12-10, Pete/Mike. They jumped to a 7-0 lead in the first; Perry/Greg tied it at 7-7 in bottom 2nd. Stayed that way 'till top last; P/M scored 5. In the bottom last, 3 runs in, bases loaded, 3-2 count, Peter B. strikes out the last batter. Nick V hit equallly well for both clubs, although he had a bases clearing triple for the winning team. We all played great and are aching very much. Sabs, you missed a GREAT game. I'm guessing you and Rocco will have a business affair in Timbuckto on the day of the alumni baseball game? which would mean Marilyn will be starting at 2b in your spot. Tony V. sorry we missed you, we moved fields before 10am, thought you might have looked around for us.

Duckman,
I was so bored in Detroit my only solace was Duke called me a couple of times from his horse which made the time go. I walked to the old Tiger Stadium I have never seen a bigger dump in my entire life. I mean this Stadium was in an absolute warzone it was the middle of the day and I feared for my life, and you're talking to a person that works in Fort Greene and Bedford-Stuyvesant. The Red Wing rink wasnt much better.
Glad the boys got together to play stick I wish I was there trust me. Please keep me Rocco and Enzo in the loop for future stickball activities. Maybe I can dig up some SHS 84 guys for an intergenerational game Frogman
PS Did Marilyn C show?

The only Mets/Pirates game I'll ever go see is when Stargell, Parker, Madlock and them come back and rope a few off of Craig Swan.
